Open Band Meeting
The popular Alford Silver Band will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Thursday 24th April, starting at 7.00 pm in the Band’s Rehearsal Centre in Millers Way (behind the Co-operative foodstore) in Alford.
As a community band, the meeting is open for anyone to attend, though only subscribing members of the band will be allowed to vote on motions.
Followers of the band, and anyone interested in joining the band will be particularly welcome. It is also an ideal opportunity to take a look at the new extension to the rehearsal centre as well as to meet and chat with the musicians.
The main business of the meeting will be to appoint the band’s officers and management committee for the next twelve months
